Hill Haus

Hill Haus is a modern two-story residence carefully sculpted into a sloped terrain, where architecture responds directly to the drama of the landscape.

The structure’s black exterior evokes a sense of quiet monumentality—its form defined by interlocking volumes and cantilevered slabs that project boldly into space, casting deep shadows and tracing the movement of light throughout the day.

Drawing from minimalist and Brutalist sensibilities, the design embraces contrast: solid and void, opacity and transparency, mass and lightness. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows frame panoramic views of the elevated site, dissolving the boundary between interior and environment while inviting the shifting moods of the sky and terrain into the living space.
